On Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 10 am to 6 pm, the Cultural Arts Center will hold its annual music festival on the grounds of the CAC in the courtyard area where it is cool and shady.
Art & Sound Downtown connects families through the arts. Born out of the love of using our 91-year-old school bring families together through the arts, our event brings music from local area bands, arts vendors from the Wiregrass, and community art projects everyone can participate to provide the backdrop for a day of laid back fun, conversation, and memories.
A children’s play area filled with inflatables, games, art projects, Bekka the Balloon Girl will keep them busy while parents enjoy the huge variety of art vendors, food vendors, and music that make this festival something for everyone and helps you connect to a world of sound and sensations that are art.
Our stage sponsor is Southern Company and Five Star Credit Union is sponsoring the Empty Bowls Tent where everyone in the community can take part in glazing bowls to prepare for the upcoming Empty Bowls Dothan sale.

There is a cash bar so ID is required to purchase alcohol. Food vendors will have non-alcoholic beverages for everyone available for a fee.
